  • Data migration and infrastructure migration to cloud.

  • Implementing shared EMR (Meditech Expanse) for 1 of 23 hospitals.

  • Building team capabilities with a Target Operating Model.

Outcomes

  • Implemented all back-office cloud systems and business benefit of ~1.5% payroll savings year-over-year achieved
  • Implemented Shared EMR solution which has made vital health information available to health providers throughout Northeast Ontario which reduced the need for patients to re-tell their stories/test
  • Moved from a HIMSS EMRAM score of 2.3 to 6
  • Significant savings from on-prem to cloud migration.
  • Creation of Digital Health Transformation Office which has empowered and transformed the organization to be able to develop and deliver digital health projects using PMI methodology.
