Approach
In collaboration with the Chief Data Office team, carried out a maturity assessment of clients Data Governance and Architecture capabilities.
Leveraged the CMMI DMM framework
Design, customization, and validation of Data Maturity Framework
Design and deployment of an online self-assessment survey
Identify current state of each data capability
Provide input on level of importance
Conducting interview sessions with key stakeholders and executives
Data specific observations were documented, followed by identification of recurring themes across those observations
Data capabilities were assessed in relation to a reference framework and capability maturity model
Outcomes
Improved ROI by reducing development time and increasing speed to market
Detailed understanding of current state pain points which includes data assessment results – current and target capability maturity, including maturity score, gaps, and implications
Prioritized recommendations with impact as well as prioritized list of improvement opportunities categorized by capability and proposed implementation timeline.

Reduced business, Data, IT, and project-level risks through improved planning
